Barriefield Animal Hospital was founded in 1995 and was originally in the Rideau Town Centre. In 2007, in order to accommodate a growing client base, our 5,000 sq. ft. facility was built on Innovation Drive, in the St. Lawrence Business Park. Located in Kingston, ON we are happy to live in a community that is the perfect blend of big-city excitement and small-town charm. Our city is home to a thriving arts and culinary scene, the St. Lawrence River, beautifully restored historic buildings and the famous Thousand Islands. Members of our team take full advantage of the recreational activities that the city has to offer such as hiking, sailing and freshwater diving.

Our team is a full-service veterinary hospital dedicated to providing comprehensive and individualized animal care. We have three full-time veterinarians and two RVTs. We are a clinic with a progressive mindset, and recognize the importance of staying up-to-date with the changing field of veterinary medicine. Most recently, we purchased new diagnostic tools including a digital x-ray, IDEXX laboratory equipment and digital dental x-ray.

Barriefield Animal Hospital is a Cat Friendly Practice accredited at the Gold level.
